Check out this write-up regarding #2 diesel fuel by our Duramax mastermind. If you are in California and near a Propel HPR Diesel station, we recommend trying it. I try to use HPR diesel when I can and I always notice less smoke, quieter engine, and better MPGs. It is usually cheaper per gallon than #2 diesel as well!
