I attempted to put new lower ball joints in and they are too short. I checked multiple times and from what I can tell these are the correct part number ball joints. The ones I took off are taller and have a snap ring

As long as the ball joint is fully seated in the lower control arm this is normal. The O.E. ball joint doesn't reach the top of the a arm pocket.2006 LBZ Daily Driver, Tractor, School Bus, Hot Rod Diesel , Crew Cab, Lifted, Hunting Rig , Cowboy Cadillac
