As summer approaches and we are all looking for ways to cool our transmissions down the PPE unit is a quality unit with a very simple install. Typical install is 30 min as a bolt on replacement. This unit below is the 06-10 application.

All in all its a very simple straight forward install. We expect to see a significant reduction in transmission coolant temps. We will report soon on the actual real world testing, so stay tuned

After a two month trial in the heat of the summer, temps ranging from 90-107 degree the cooler has performed as expected. Typical coolant temp drops we 18-23 degree less than the OEM Cooler in similar outside temp and driving conditions. We see quicker recover times and with stop and go traffic or pulling long grades the trans took longer to get to higher temps but we were able to sustain lower over all maximum temps through out a variety of driving and towing conditions.

All in all, if you want an average of 18-23 degree coolant drop, this is a very viable options. Add a deep sump pan and some have reported even more of an average temp drop.
