LMM is so close I can practically hear the turbo whistle and smell the diesel fumes....

Tranny about ready to go in.

    One sweet looking transfer case.

Dmax Store brace and a Kryptonite SS center link...

    Up in place.

View from the top of the brace and the trans installed.

Few loose items to button up and time to crank it over.

Unfortunately its not always rainbows and unicorns and fun performance projects. This is a companies work truck, LLY in for head gaskets and studs.

LBZ in for a factory turbo replacement...

And we got a call from a customer from OR, he was passing through CA when his truck started running like crap. First shop he took it too told him he had a bad turbo, luckily he decided to get a second opinion and brought it in. Turns out his up pipe bellow had a hole in it. A bolt snapped on his manifold when we were removing the up-pipe, but we had a spare for him to get him back on the road. Customer decided to do a down pipe while we were in there. Should get him back on the road shortly!

Customer brought in his LLY for headgaskets. Had been done previously by another shop and had ARP studs already. Apparently it was so bad the block was warped (not checked) and re-assembled. Didn’t last too long and got brought into our shop. Was pretty bad, and upon further inspection found a small crack in the #4 piston. Customer opted to get a rebuilt short block with de-lipped Mahle pistons, and also getting a new pair of CNC ported SoCal stage 1 heads.

And this customer brought his truck in because he saw metallic in his coolant... Great reason to run a tig welded impeller

Customer brought his truck in for a new motor. This one was “lubing” his turbo...

Pull rig and DD, Danville 68 Stg2R, dual fuellers, injectors on a stock LBZ bottom end finally gave up the ghost. Putting in a fully built motor...

LBZ came in to get a new CP3 put in and fix the leaky oil drain on the turbo.

Well, all the parts are in. Callies crank, Carrillo rods, Mahle pistons, 68mm turbo got sent back to Danville to get a bigger 72mm wheel put in, and exergy sticks to try and keep up with all the air. Gonna destroy the competition this pull season.

Stock vs keyed crank... what are you gonna trust to keep things in check?

This LB7 came in on a flatbed, bad injector that stuck and toasted the piston.

New GM longblock getting ready to go in.
